Stop the INSANITY!!!
It's another Friday and I am paying for the weekly "Thursday Night Binge". I just took a look in the mirror and yup! There they are - those lovely puffy eyes I've had every Friday for the last month or so...Why?? Because I can't seem to keep away from the Ruffles, that's why!!
A little personal background - I have "water retention issues", meaning I even look at anything salty I puff up like a blowfish (think Finding Nemo for a visual reference) and every Thursday I do the weekly grocery shopping. Ok, with me so far... So I always pick up the variety packs of potato chips for the kids' lunches. However, always left over from these are the fritos and the plain ruffles with rrrrridges.... Fritos are handled by Hubby. And me, well I INHALE the ruffles!! I can't seem to stop - I find I NEED to pour half a bottle of ranch dressing in a bowl and dip away all those little bags of ruffles.... And even while I'm doing it, I can feel the salt kick in.... And I keep munching away....
It's very sad, and I am so very weak. Please, my dear ones - take pity and try not to be too disappointed in me. I leave you now to go pop a water pill.......
