** This weekend - So met up with Kent's parents and took the kids to the Nordic Heritage Museum's Trivoli Festival. Or as I like to call it, The annual "Yeah kids let's go catch up with your Dad's side of the family!! You know, the one's that raped and pillaged Mom's side!!.... OK, I don't actually say that to the kids...But I do LOVE tease Kent about it! Glenn said he wanted to get a Swedish flag to hang in his room. I told him "Not in my house Bud!!" Boy, did Kent roll his eyes at that one. LOL!! (yes, he got one - a very little one. The Irish flag he got from his other grandma's trip to Ireland is MUCH bigger! hehe)

** I get up today at 3:30AM so I can get into work by 6:00AM. The plan is to cram a 5 day/40 hr work week into 3 1/2 days so we can get out of town early Thursday afternoon....
And so I show up at work to no computers, none. The thought being they were working, just VERY slow. Like turn on computer, get coffee, gab about your weekend and then you can sign on 30 minutes later. And this is how the morning went: Point, click.....Clean up my cubie, go thru all the piles of papers, organize files I can't work on....Point, click....Wait some more, clean out my purse, found my AAA card (probably good to have for a road trip!), found stamps to mail some things that needed to go out, everybody decides to go to IHop and get breakfast but I decide to save all the change I just found in my purse and stay....Point, click.....Grab a garbage bag from the janitors room and head out to my car and clean it out, decide what the heck - half the building is gone - take all the change I just found and go get the car vacuumed (knew that change would come in handy!). Point, click.....Well, I think you get the idea. 5 hours later... We have computers and I'm still here trying to catch up. Looks like I'll be getting out of here earlier then I thought on Thursday!!
