Well, I hope everyone had a Happy Mother's day. We had our traditional early dinner @ Anthony's with Hubby's parents.

And I went thru my traditional scramble to find something for the girl child to wear. It never fails. The girl wears nothing but the standard jeans/sweatshirt that every other clone at her school wears and she's grown out of her "dress her up and take her out" clothes. And of course every year I refuse to do anything about it, thinking it's Mother's day, the "Better Half" *snort* or the girl herself will think of this prior to the morning of Mother's day. Of course not. So I hold on until the AM and then ask the question, get the blank looks, grab the car keys and hit the store. I know, it's my own fault. But every year I try.

But once we were properly attired, dinner was well worth it. I love Anthony's. It sits on the waterfront and has a lovely view of Puget Sound. You can sit and chat, have a great meal and watch the ferries going back and forth from the islands. After dinner it's time to take a walk along the pier. On a sunny Sunday afternoon, it's VERY Pacific Northwest. Hehe.
