Howdy Strangers!

So let's see:

** Mom and Pops have been here and gone. I spoke to them earlier this week and they're all moved in to their new place and Mom has begun to bug me about coming out to Colorado for Xmas. Pay for it and get me tix to a Av's hockey game and I could be tempted!

** That's right....Av's hockey!! How nice it will be to see both my favorite Joe's the fall!! The family is of course going nuts over getting to see MORE hockey. When we will find the time, I don't know. I did threaten to stick a board under the cushions on the couch to avoid the permanent hole that will be made by their butts sitting there all season. Oh well, free up some time for me to do my own thing if I want, like maybe some more traveling.

** Trips, trips and more trips. So I've got a trip to the mid-west coming up with Jules! CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT!!! And then the great adventure through Canada! Another can't wait experience! The hubby and kidlets will be up in Canada at the same time for Glenn's hockey camp so I get a bonus and get to spend some time with them while we're in Kelowna. I love to take off in the car ( or in my case the Mini-Van or "Mom Wagon") and just throw the luggage in the back and go. No set plans, other then the basics and just seeing where the day takes ya!

** Speaking of trips.... Someone on The Diva Board has posted that DivaCon '06 will be coming up in the spring.... So you ladies have fair warning to start making plans!! Pop over and say Hi!

** Took the kids to see "The Music Man" this week. It was a local production, but really good and fun to watch. Thanks to their well rounded, highly cultured parents (LOL) the kids knew the show already and had a lot of fun singing along. Of course girl-child (the dancer) was totally enthralled and can't wait for "Cats", which is coming in November.

Well need to run. It's Friday and I need to get things wrapped up here at work so I can get the hell out of dodge! No great plans for the weekend, just some family time and getting little things done here and there. So whatever you all have planned, have fun!!

Well it looks like I'll be out of the loop for a while....

Right after I got back from Vegas, Grandma and Grandpa descended on poor little me and I'll be dealing with the invasion for at least another week.

After 3 years of traveling the US in an RV - Mom and Pops have decided to settle down a bit. Spring/Summer in Castle Rock, Co with my brother (they always did like him best! *wink*) And Fall/Winter in New Mexico. Classic "Snow Birds". So they're up in my corner of the world packing up and getting things out of storage for the official move south.

So for two weeks I'm spending some quality time with the family and making myself scarce. The kids the first week of summer vacation setting up a new basketball hoop in the drive-way, a croquet course in the backyard and Glenn's new passion-Lacrosse in the front yard. They are keeping themselves, their parents and grandparents VERY busy!!

I hope everyone had a great 4th! My neighborhood sure did it up right and non-stop the entire long weekend. I found things in my yard in the daylight that I know I didn't light up, so things were flying from everywhere! I'm still wondering what the goop is I found on my windshield this morning...ugh!
